Competitor bio:

Kristina is an elite endurance runner who has represented Denmark on the national trail team and long-distance mountain team. The 34-year-old is a former boxer who started her running career in 2008. She became a professional runner in 2016 after winning the 2015 Volcano Marathon and the Jungle Ultra, a 230km self-supported multi stage race in the Amazon Jungle. Kristina holds the world record for fastest climb of Kilimanjaro and just recently won the Desert Ultra 250km. She participated in The World Marathon Challenge in 2019 and finished second lady in an average time of 3:30. This year she will attempt to break the women’s record of 3:28.
