Competitor bio:

Roger has been running for as long as he can remember. His wife Carol managed to catch him in 1992 but he tragically lost her in 2019. Becky and Gary have helped him to keep going. Roger likes running non-stop and long but keeps getting distracted. Majors segued into continents into Comrades into canals and ultras. He hopes he can run across Britain from coast to coast one day. He was searching to run Antarctica when he discovered the World Marathon Challenge; what an incredible distraction...

WORLD MARATHON CHALLENGE®

The World Marathon Challenge ® is a logistical and physical challenge to run seven marathons on seven continents in seven days. Competitors must run the standard 42.2 km marathon distance in Antarctica, Africa, Australia, Asia, Europe, South America and North America within 168 hours, or 7 days. The clock starts when the first marathon begins in Antarctica.
